
It seems that every morning becomes more and more gorgeous as the spring and summer months approach us. Consequently, every year around this time, the Japanese Weather Association puts up a watch for one of the most recognized customs of Japanese culture: the tradition of flower viewing (mainly cherry blossoms, or sakura) known as 花見 (はなみ , hanami). Hanami is a Japanese custom that goes back to the nation’s early history.
